This is a good figure but there is one minor problem, he has extremely weak joints just by being in a backpack with noting but clothes inside his arm broke off so... wait a second maybe I could make a custom using him! Anyway he has great detail but he is increadbly weak....[See More]

well I just got this in the mail this morning and can I just say that the figure is excellent, although I thought that it would be a lot bigger than it is it is really well sculpted and the detail is great, I saw the movie a while ago and the mark 1 is an absolutely awesome looking suit of armour, and I think it looks better than the other suits as well. I personally think that it could be better because I asked a lot of people and they a lot of them thought that although the mark one looks cool they all said that they thought that the mark 3 was better and some of my friends that do not even collect figurines also thought that the mark 3 was better, so if you want a decent iron man figure I think you should take a long hard think about what type of thing you like because you shouldn’t...[See More]
Titanium Man

Don't really know much about this character, but I'm a sucker for robot-suits! Titanium Man stands about 6-inches tall, you can make him a little taller if you pull his head up a little. I like the junkyard-design of this armor, it looks pieced-together like the Mark 1 Iron Man suit, but a little more refined. It has lots of neat gizmos and piping, even the disks in the hip-joints have engraved detail! The shoulderpads move, like the Iron Man figures, but these are held a lot more securely in-place. Unfortunately they limit arm-movement, you can't lift the arms straight out to the sides. The white/green areas are painted to look like swirling energy, the effect looks okay. Paint is neat on the whole figure, what little there is anyway, the Star and Sickle are immaculately done @_@. The...[See More]

Iron Monger (Super Fist Smash)
Iron Man - 2008 Movie (Hasbro) - Basic Series
Rated 5.00 stars by Collector1
A big, mean killing machine describes Obadiah Stane's suit of powered armor rather well. Reversed engineered from Tony Stark's original Iron Man Mark I prototype armor used in his escape from the Ten Rings camp, the Iron Monger warsuit towers over the other Iron Man armors in the line, but is not in scale with the actual movie. Visible, Iron Monger is armed with a missile launcher on its left arm and a flame thrower or maybe a mini-machine gun and possible a mini-laser cannon-thing above it. Unfortunately, these are sculpted and not movable. Four fingered hands have a small circle in their palms, representing a flight stabilizer and repulser. The shoulder pads are soft and easily flexible as to avoid messing with the arm articulation, which is splendid by the way. Iron Monger has...[See More]

Finally I got my hands on the new MOnger figure.... first off. totally better than the first piece of %#&*!!!! this one sports a better paint job over all.. w/ silver instead of that dark ugly gray NO MORE PUNCHING ACTION!!! we are gifted with a great plain figure that has a removeable cockpit! the figure has about 18 POA to my count.. just enough. the LEGS ACTUALLY MOVE!!! at the hip with a ball like joint.. everything basically the same to any other Hasbro figures POA except... no head movement at all on the robot head... iunno why. just probably too lazy to do it w/ the whole thing coming off nd what not.. the cockpit comes in two parts with the chest and the head that snap on to the back and front w/ a hing like movement so it can come up and down. and the two parts connected...[See More]

I almost picked this up the other day, but I thought it was just way out of scale with ML figures and the other Iron Man figures as well.

Not being a huge fan of Iron Man, I wasn't looking forward to these figures, but I thought they'd make good fodder for customs, and turns-out they are, but they are also pretty cool figures. They don't give-off that cheap plasticky vibe like most of Hasbro's stuff, but they are far from perfect. There are some little things that bug me. Iron Man stands 6.25 inches tall. I'm not kidding. All the bitching and moaning you've been hearing about him being too small is all a bunch of hot air. He's fine, well worth buying at retail price. And don't worry, this figure is going to be everywhere in a week or two, don't spend 50 bucks online for it. The armor-design isn't bland, but the paint-job is kinda iffy. It looks like he was painted with nail-polish. There are areas where there are dark...[See More]

I picked up this one last night and got him opened up this morning. In comparrison with both the Stealth Ops and the Mark 2, I''m actually quite disappointed in this figure. Well, not the figure itself, because it is of course the same figure as the Mark 2, the Stealth Ops, and the Silver Centurion, but the paint applications. In the whole rack I went through there wasn''t a single one that had a clean application of the red. The gold and silver, yes, but not the red. Poor old Iron Man looks like somebody went through and gave him paint touch ups with some pink paint. (Specifically bad points being his right foot, both hands, left thigh, and right side of his abdomen area)
Popping off the head and looking at the ball joint (which is left unpainted shows that it looks to be a missed coat of paint. the grey/silver plastic, the pinkish underbase, then the semi-transpartent darker red coat.)
Yeah, I know, if I want perfection, do it myself, It''d just be nice if he wasn''t pink :-)

Iron Man (Stealth Operations Suit)

Nice looking figure. Stealth Operations Ironman (why they didn't just call him War Machine is beyond me, the packaging comes right out and says that its' flown by James Rhodes after all) has decent shading on the silver parts of the figure, but the grey/black portions are just plain black. The sculpt itself is quite nice. The moveable cannons on his shoulders are decent and help to set this version a little apart from the others. The shoulder armor is removeable, but doesn't seem to get in the way of articulation anyway. Decent range of motion on the ankles, double jointed knees and elbows. Bicep articulation is in place, but no forearm. Swivel and hinge joints on the wrist (though the hand armor limits the ability to tilt the hand back for a nice repulsor blast type pose.)...[See More]

It doesn''t have waist articulation? So it can''t turn at all? I thought all the armors were the same though, with the upper-body being able to move around.

Yup, he has the upper torso articulation like the others, but nothing at the waist. Sorry, thought I''d mentioned the chest articulation. :-)

Hello All! I got lucky last week and found an Iron Man Mark III on a website and had to buy it, I gotta tell you I was a little worried about the Iron Man Movie figures because of how bad Hasbro screwed up the Spider-man 3 figures, so needless to say I was sweating pretty bad until I got him( hoping my $40 plus shipping wasn't a waste) but when I got him in the mail I was amazed! he is a little bit smaller than most marvel legends not really noticeable though, he is the same height just a tad bit scrawny in comparison so like Captain america or Black Panther. However it doesn't make him look out of place at all. The Possibility of the figure is wonderful( I would say 25-30 POA just like most ML ) He is really good at holding his position, no loose joints, and he looks really cool doing...[See More]

Yea i know 40 bucks was alot ( think how my wife felt when she found out 0.0) but i think he was worth it. These figures should be hitting store shelfs around the end of march and should retail for $7-10 per figure alittle more if they do deluxe figures.

I just finally got my Iron Man Movie Mark 1 Figure in the mail from Hong Kong yesterday! so lets begin. The figure was off the start ALOOOOOT smaller than I thought it would be.. the figure's body itself was very nicely sculpted and pretty bulky but the head was as way too small for the body... almost like a peanut.. The body has about 20 points of articulation from my count.. but I could be alittle off... mostly the same for most of the hasbro marvel legends.. other than that. I was atleast very happy to have this figure.. it stood out very well to have a new Mark 1/first appearance Iron Man that looks like a real made out of scrap armor.. when you compare the left side to the right side of its body you can notice that nothing is the same detail... which is good giving it the...[See More]

yeah, hasbro''s figures are pretty small, but i think his head looks fine. ''cause if you consider what size the armor is, than what size tony stark would be, i think it evens out. man, i HAVE to get this figure!!!!
