Soul Calibur II (McFarlane)Oh no, it's Voldo, the crazy S&M guy of Soul Calibur!!! Basically, this is another Todd MacFarlane Soul Calibur statuette, and let me say I am quite impressed. Quite. It seems Mr. MacFarlane has taken several creative liberties and changed up Voldo's costume quite a bit, surprisingly for the better. A few examples are doing away with the creepy head gear, adding a shoulder cloth, and giving him a removable ornament of a giant claw that can be placed on his back. I'm no fan of Voldo, and I only got him, because like all other good figures you never thought you'd want, he came in a lot of figures. Basically, his articulation is as limited as any of the other Soul Calibur figures (if you can call them figures). With a sculpt made by God, and painted by those who never colored outside of the lines, this little statue thingy is a force to be reckoned with, and along with the other Soul Calibur will most likely be the center piece of your video game collection. Honestly, it's hard to say which one of these is my favorite because they're all so great, and at the same time so different. So do what I did, and buy them all!
