Write a Review link for that item. Iron Man - 2008 Movie (Hasbro)Nice looking figure. Stealth Operations Ironman (why they didn't just call him War Machine is beyond me, the packaging comes right out and says that its' flown by James Rhodes after all) has decent shading on the silver parts of the figure, but the grey/black portions are just plain black. The sculpt itself is quite nice. The moveable cannons on his shoulders are decent and help to set this version a little apart from the others. The shoulder armor is removeable, but doesn't seem to get in the way of articulation anyway. Decent range of motion on the ankles, double jointed knees and elbows. Bicep articulation is in place, but no forearm. Swivel and hinge joints on the wrist (though the hand armor limits the ability to tilt the hand back for a nice repulsor blast type pose.) Head is on a ball socket. Cannons on his back are on tracked pegs allowing them to be raised up over his shoulders or stored on his back. And, he feels solid, not fragile or cheap. So, that's all the good, how bout the not so good. No waist articulation. The clip on guns for the forearms don't stay in place very well, and look like they're clip ons. The cannons can't turn, at all. Hand armor limits the range of motion somewhat. Strange sculpt on the right hand as well. A nice figure that makes me hope that the rest of the line is as nice.   by Scottrooper |
