Ryu Hayabusa Ninja Gaiden II (Neca)This is one of the most impressive action figure from the Player Select video game series action figures from NECA I have ever seen. I bought 3 of these, one for my 11-year old sister Andrea, the other 2 for me. One is open and one is still in the case in mint condition. This by far is the most posable figure from NECA other than Altair from Assassin's Creed. Several fans wanted an fully-posable action figure, not statue, of Ryu Hayabusa of Ninja Gaiden, and now it's here and it's available at any comic book store or FYE Store. One of the many unique features is that is has 32 points of articulation, though I believe that it has more than that and it's extremely posable. The detail of the figure is top notch, and the weapons look like they're from the game. It even comes with a pair of hands to hold the wickedly large tonfas. Though the figure is great, there are some drawbacks to it. The left tonfa hand is too loose for the tonfa to fit inside and the sockets for the hands feel a little loose when twisted. Another drawback is that the package says that it comes with 3 kunai throwing knives when in reality it doesn't. I just wrote a letter to NECA Toys about the 3 missing kunais for my 2 figures, and they sent it to me via priority mail a few days later. NECA has great customer support, and they said that they address this problem to those who don't have the 3 kunais with their figures. I was told that there was a factory error, and they immediately sent the 6 kunais I requested after I sent my letter. Today at 1:05 PM EST on the 26th of January, I had to write a letter to them again addressing the same problem I had 2 weeks ago this time with the Hayabusa figure I bought for my sister Andrea. I also noticed that at FYE, their shipment also had figures with no kunais. A lot of Ninja Gaiden fans here at my home in Jacksonville, Florida are gonna be ticked about this. And NECA is going to have a lot of complaints about this. Overall, this figure is really well-sculpted and is super-posable, but the wrist joints seem loose and the 3 kunais are not included in the package and have to be requested to be delivered. If anyone has a Hayabusa figure without the 3 kunais, go to the NECA Toys online site and go to the customer service page to tell them about this problem and they'll send you your kunais free of charge, but tell them your mailing address so they can send it to you immediately via priority mail. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
