I just recently got the Lightning Collection MMPR Green Ranger and was wanting to give the figure an overhaul to look more like the Super Sentai counterpart, Dragon Ranger. More specifically, replacing the helmet head and shield, and recoloring the suit to a darker green that replicated the spandex look.

In terms of the suit itself, is there any method that can replicate the glossy sheen the spandex used? I was thinking maybe something metallic, or pearlescent, or maybe some candy over silver with a matte sealer. I'm just not sure. Can anybody more knowledgeable help me?

Is there a way to search your collection by figure name? I need an easily searchable list of my collection as I frequent conventions and need quick access of my list. So I'm a weeb and I find that my anime figures dont quite have a lot of choice when it comes to villain characters or enemies, especially in the perfect size I need. Dont want a tiny Hulk fighting a giant high school superhero, right? And while some characters NEED to have a modded counterpart (kaiba with a baby blue eyes white dragon? What is this, a duel monster for ants?) Other characters I just want an enemy within the same genre ie super heroes v super villains, fantasy characters v fantasy monsters. So with that in mind I wanted to hear the communities solutions theyve personally come up with and or reccommend. I'm a brand new customizer wannabe, have cracked Legends, etc figures for practice, but no finished projects yet. I just got a 4" Spin Masters Riddler and found the articulation to be exactly what I was looking for. The seam is obvious, and it's a neck peg. I've been having a rough time trying to crack the figure without causing cosmetic damage. I have tried boil and pop and a heat gun. Either the plastic is too warm and bends too easily, or it's too cold and my pliers end up scratching it. Also, the elbow and leg joints to this figure confound me, since I haven't gotten them off yet. I imagine it's a hinge with a peg inserting into the upper arm/ leg.
